Effect of topical application of G7 in reducing histamine induced skin reactions: A preliminary study

Abstract

A Siddha drug G7 was tested for its anti allergic activity in human subjects. Histamine was prick tested onto the drug sensitized region and control site of volar forearm. The extent of erythema, oedema and itching were scored. G7 exhibited activity in reducing the erythema and itching induced by histamine in a dose dependent manner.
