This work is an analysis of the structure, conduct and performance of bambara nuts marketers in Southern part of Taraba State, Nigeria. Descriptive statistics was used for its analysis. Sample was selected using multi-stage random sampling techniques. A structured questionnaire was used to collect the data. 60 copies of the questionnaire were given to 60 bambara nuts marketers. Descriptive statistics like marketing margin, marketing efficiency, and Gini coefficient was used to analyze the data. The result showed that bambara nuts business is lucrative; its marketing margin (M.M) for retailers is N 1,590,644 and N 2,232,319 for wholesalers respectively. The study further revealed that bambara nuts marketing was productive profit wise; its marketing efficiency (M.E) for retailers is 3.17 and 2.43 for wholesalers respectively and finally bambara marketing is competitive; the income among bambara nuts is not equal ; the Gini coefficients are 0.48 and 0.53. It is suggested that government should put in money on rural development projects to cut costs of production and marketing. To speed up group sales and to obtain increased marketing margin, bambara nuts marketers need to establish a cooperative society.
