Neubauer, et al. (2001) confirmed that the status of music in Islam is the most controversial issue. The status of music in Islam has become a debatable issue, whether Islam permits it, or forbids it. 1. H. Abdul Wahid Shaikh (October 22, 2014) ruled out that “music is not forbidden in Islam”. Always a hot debate arises when we mention the prohibition of music in Islam and its permissibility. Scholars always have hotly debated whether music is permissible or not.2 Some scholars believe that it is entirely prohibited, some believe that music is entirely legalized, some believe that some aspects of music are allowed and other aspects are prohibited."3 Scholars differ on whether the music itself is prohibited or some aspects connected to music. In Saudi Arabia under Mohammed Bin Salman’s rule, there is an increasing tendency for youngsters to be involved in electronic music. (Sanbeer Singh Ranhotra January 0 , 2023 ). Sheikh Adil al-Kalbani, Riyadh Mosque leader claimed the existence of music and singing as well as musical instruments, during the time of the Prophet Muhammad.4 This paper will be analyzing critically on music and singing from Islamic point of view particularly in association with particular events and circumstances.
