Internet and social networking sites are now very important in every individual life. In particular, Facebook as social networking site has some positive and negative effects on students learning. In this study, the researcher explored the effects of Facebook as social networking site on students learning. The quantitative research method was used and the population of the study was all the universities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad with the sample size hundred. For the qualitative part, two semi-structured questions were constructed. The findings of the study showed that Facebook has significant benefits for students learning, helping students with communication, sharing information and getting awareness.However, at the same time, there are some disadvantages of using Facebook such as wasting students' time, distracting students, negativelyeffects on students' health and pooracademic performance but if students use Facebook wisely, these disadvantages could be eliminated.
