Investigation of heavy metals contamination of edible marine seafood

Levels of trace metals (Co, Cu, Fe, Mn and Zn) were determined in some marine species (Tilapia zilli, Callinectes sapidus and Littorina litorea) collected during different seasons from Ondo coastal region, Nigeria. Inhibition of the corrosion of mild steel in HCl by sparfloxacin

Inhibitive and adsorption properties of sparfloxacin for the corrosion of mild steel in HCl have been studied using gravimetric, gasometric and thermometric methods of monitoring corrosion. Sparfloxacin is found to inhibit the corrosion of mild steel in HCl.
