The Journal of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (NJMIRT) is a biannual and peer reviewed publication of the Nigerian Institute of Radiography, A Division of The Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN). It is dedicated to thepublication of original articles dealing with all aspects of medical imagingsciences/radiography, radiation therapy and related subjects, particularly their clinical applications. Research papers, review articles, technical notes and letters to the editor-in-chief are published
The scope of NJMIRT includes the following areas: biomedical electronics, informatics, instrumentation, physics, imaging, research, equipment management, optics and robotics, biotechnology, health and safety, bio-mechanical, public health, clinical, rehabilitation, tissue, biomaterials, industrial, bioprocess, genetic, neural and biochemical sciences and engineering, biomathematics and biostatistics, biosensing and biosignal processing, e-health; radiotherapy and radiation safety, physiological measurement, biopharmaceutical technology, nanotechnology, medical robotics and computer-assisted surgery, bio-medical, clinical, pharmaceutical and laboratory sciences
Open Access is a publication model that enables the dissemination of research articles to the global community without restriction through the internet. All articles published under open access can be accessed by anyone with internet connection.

The Journal of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapyis an Open Access journal. Abstracts and full texts of all articles published in this journal are freely accessible to everyone immediately after publication without any form of restriction.

Manuscript Handling Fee
Authors are required to pay the manuscript handling fee only after their manuscripts have been reviewed and accepted for publication by an editor.
The manuscript handling fee for NJMIRT is $550 (USD)
