  Abstract

A HPLC method was developed for simultaneous quantitative determination of the 6 compounds namely aloin, puerarin, genistein, daidzin, genistin and daidzein in “KANGXIN” tablets. The separation was achieved on a C18 column, a diode array detector at 260 nm and a mobile phase composed of acetonitrile and water under the gradient elution. Good linear relationships were obtained. The average recoveries were in the range of 95.83–102.57%. The validated method can be utilized as a suitable method for the quality control of “KANGXIN” tablets.

Key words: Column liquid chromatography, active components, “KANGXIN” tablet, quality control.
