 Abstract

Molecular dynamics of the aquation reactions of the complexes [Cr(en)2Cl2]Cl, [Cr(tn)2Cl2]Cl, [Cr(tetren)Cl]Cl2, [Cr(pn)2Cl2]Cl, [Cr(trien)Cl2]Cl and [Cr(dien)Cl3] have been extensively studied in mixed solvent media. Kinetics and thermodynamic parameters have been evaluated and the results are interpreted carefully in the light of statistical and regression models.

Key words: Cr (III) complexes, molecular dynamics, aquation reaction, kinetic parameters, thermodynamic parameter, statistical model, regression model.
